Staten Island Staten Island is the most suburban in character of the five boroughs. It is connected to Brooklyn by the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge and Manhattan by the free Staten Island Ferry. With it's low population compared to the four other boroughs, Staten Island is often referred to "The Forgotten Borough" thus the reason for its grand ideal place for The Lost Boys Hideout.
