Power Outfit: Simple t-shirt and jeans work perfectly well, must be dry; if any part of TJ is wet then his powers will short out and more often than not, will electricute himself in the process.
Personality:
The kind of person that is capable of striking up a conversation with anyone, just chooses not to, that's TJ Camden.
Since his parents disowned him TJ has been a little more reserved and tends to shy away from conversations unless the person speaking to him says something interesting to hold his attention. He's grown to be very suspicious of others and what they want from him, he believes in Karma and the universal balance and that as his ability is electric based that there is someone out there who will have control over water, his weakness. Though, he's not in any rush to find them.
TJ has a habit of being pessimistic from time to time, he was never the overly optimistic type and gets annoyed by those who are constantly chirpy and happy.
He will admit to being curious about everything around him, not the type of guy to pull apart a computer, more about how people react to each other and trying to guess what they're thinking; that's one of the best mysteries.
There is nothing that TJ craves for more than just one single person who relates to everything that has happened to him so far, he won't let on to that secret though.
Really dislikes pools and the sea and has irrational fears of elevators and ladders.
Every possible opportunity, TJ will be found either outside in the morning sun or in front of a computer and surfing the net. He's made a hobby out of collecting emoticons and as dorky as that sounds, he has found some funny ones.
Old habits die hard, TJ is still able to climb trees of any shape or size and he makes the most of that little skill as he isn't blessed with height.
TJ never really saw the need to carry a weapon until he arrived in America, and now, purely out of necessity, he carries a small bladed knife in his back pocket. He would much rather use that sometimes than using his skills on some unarmed stranger and have it turn into a mutant-hunt, bringing un necessary attention to them at the wrong time.
Villain or Hero: I'll pick villain
Power(s):
TJ has the ability to create and manipulate and control electricty, this was extremely uncontrollable at first and TJ still has a little difficulty keeping it under wraps sometimes. When his mutancy first shown it's self, he had only just turned 14 and it scared him to no end, a small light started flickering in his fingertips and the lightbulbs in the house went crazy.
Once he was comfortable with it (and that took a long time) he would lock himself in his room after school and see what else he could do. For a short time he thought that this was a superhero thing (Was a BIG dork) and would practice trying to turn the lights on and off.
There was one time when TJ woke up in the middle of the night and his whole body looked like a glow stick, the sheets were statically charged and were clinging to him, this isn't one of his favourite memories, it occurred to him then that there must be a trigger to it and he had to figure it out before trying to leave the house for school.
He was 16 when his parents figured out about his mutant skill and because of all the stories they'd heard on the news, became scared and promptly kicked him out.
History:
As stubborn as they come, that was probably how his teachers would have described TJ while he was at school. He wasn't in the popular crowd, nor a jock, he was better suited as a loner and preferred it that his own company a lot of the time.
School and studying wasn't one of his stronger points as TJ had quite a lot of trouble with his concentration and thought he could be doing something better with his time than trying to read lines out of a book, much to the dismay of his teachers.
Teenage years was when it all started to get weird for TJ, as if puberty wasn't enough, he had to deal with the fact his power could blow light-bulbs and short out the fuses. His mutancy began to show when TJ was fourteen, he'd not long been home from school and wasdoodling trying to get his head around algebra when he heard that his parents were having an argument. This really wasn't a scrange occurance but this time he'd had enough and was on his way to slam his bedroom door when his palm began to glow, this grew until his whole arm was crackling with static.
His familys reaction wasn't one that he'd hoped for, they walked in on him while he was practicing his 'sparky act' and his mom screamed while his dad just stood there with his mouth agape. They'd gone through pleading with him to “Not be a mutant” to arguing who's fault it was that their only son was a freak.
After a few hours of non stop worrying, they gave TJ two options and that was to not use his abilities ever or to get out of the house.
It really wasn't that big decision to make! TJ spent all the money he left with to get himself a seat on a plane to America, getting there was easy.
Now TJ lives in a crap-hole of an apartment in the middle of New York with low rent and he spends the better part of his day working for as many hours as he possibly can to keep himself in the country.
All the bad press that mutants have been getting are heard more frequently in the US than they were in England, so TJ tries his best to be under best behavior, though sometimes there is the occasional slip-up.

If there was one place you would never find one of the laziest students in school… whom has the worse grades out of the entire mutant school body… it was the library, but under the carefree overprotective nature that seemed to rule the teen was someone who liked learning.
Alone… mostly… but he did enjoy it. It made his parents worry about how he was going to manage in the world if he didn't buckle down, but that wasn’t something that TJ had ever worried about. No… he always thought he was going to get a scholarship to a university and sail through it.
Ambitious, funny, protective, often laidback… and someone with a wicked temper… but he wasn’t someone who believed he had to worry about his future.
Nope… not one bit. That was his problem. He was a procrastinator, a bad one, and even if he honestly wanted to get into this college as a normal person… he would just have to do something about it… criticise himself and then re-write it all (rinse, repeat). As unbelievable as it is, TJ Camden was a perfectionist!
So why was he here… leaning his weight on his left arm, which was against the table, a book open below him. Yes, hell must have frozen over, because there TJ sat ‘studying’! A very rare sight, and the teen was thankful that he'd found an almost secluded section of the local library because if one of his friends found him he would never hear the end of it! Now… making sure they never heard of this was the hard part, because the guys heard everything!
Regular people moved about around him and most probably didn’t notice the fact that… well… that….
That TJ was not studying… he was sleeping but he never-less had tried to study! That’s how he ended up a sleep on his left hand, with the book he had been reading open under him… If only he could stay awake long enough to finish the first sentence…
"Mmm... chocolate strawberry cheese cake..." He muttered in his sleep... obviously dreaming about his favourite food in the world. Chocolate.
