Name Anastasia Tomas
Nickname: Ana
Age: 21
Gender: Female
Physical Description:
Long dark brown hair that falls down past her shoulders or is kept back in a messy bun, hazel/brown eyes and big smile. Ana believes her best feature is her smile and will use it to get something she wants or to take advantage of a situation. Although Anastasia exercises whenever she has some free-time, her figure isn't athletically thin, she has and plans to keep her female figure exactly the way it is supposed to be; with curves.
Ana feels comfortable in her own skin and so believes that she can pull off style (within reason), but feels more comfortable in non-restrictive clothes such as jeans or soft loose skirts.
On the small of her back Anastasia has a birthmark shaped like a dice, it is rather hard to see as it is below the waist line.
She stands at 5ft 8 inches high. Average build and tries hard to keep her tan up, doesn’t like fake people.
In a crowd she is likely to be the one at the side with her own style, a mp3 plugged in and carefully watching everyone around her.
Usual Outfit: Something light and simple for every day where, Ana will usually walk around in loose-fit jeans, a white tank and barefoot, that's how she feels most comfortable. Will dress up if the occasion calls for it.
Power Outfit: Doesn't have one.
Personality:
Since her parents disowned her and kicked her out of their home leaving her to fend for herself, Ana had become reserved short tempered and smart mouthed. Learning to be able to take care of yourself was a necessity, and although she never became very street-smart, Ana knew where exactly she could hide and the places that would give her food for small jobs.
Strengths: Independent streak, spotting creeps, manipulating situations.
Weaknesses: Feeling smothered, claustrophobia
Opinion On Life: Whoever pulls the strings up there is having a laugh at my expense.
Opinion On Self: I had to grow up fast, I can take care of myself.
General Over-view of personality: I get what I want. I live by three words : want, take, have.
Villain or Hero: Hero
Power(s): Teleportation
History:
Parents: Martin and Caralyn Tomas
Siblings: Erin Mallory (16)
Personal History: Anastasia was born outside of Michigan 21 years ago on March 17th to Martin and Caralyn.
Her Mom was very focused on designing clothes and building up her own business, her Dad spent most of his time out of the house as a small budget movie director.
Anastasia and her sister were home schooled up to the age of 9 and then was finally able to get out of the house and socialise more, most of her childhood was spent standing next to her father and watching him work on movie sets and with the actors. Sometimes was put in as an extra for her dad's movies. [And she loved it]
It was on a film set when she was twelve that her powers crept up on her, quickly followed by her Dad dragging her out of everyones view so that he could save face. It simply wouldn't do that his daughter was one of those freaks they had just started to hear about on the news; he had a career and reputation to keep... so there was only one option for her and that was to leave, both her parents promptly denied all knowledge of her existance and left her belongings on a suitcase out on the front door as soon as she returned from the studio.
It took Anastasia a few months, but she made a bee-line to New York, doing small jobs where ever she could to afford food, a bed and to stay off the child services radar. (No tacky jobs though)
RP Example:
Life in this high school was kind of frantic. Especially when there were freshmen popstar wannabe’s chasing you with nail polish, trying to tell you why Frosted Aqua would go nicely with your hair. On second thought, that wasn’t so much frantic as it was annoying. d**n those girls to make-up free hell, them and their blasted hair rollers. Gabrielle took the first Anailable chance she could to escape the madness!
She moved to the section of the library that she could have located with her eyes closed, her eyes quickly scanning the higher shelves. Darn it. How come all of the books she wanted were always too high up for her to reach? This was prejudice against the short people of Hollywood. Especially her.
She wrinkled her nose, a scent of the cafeteria food floating in from the kitchens suddenly making her crave something to eat. How distracting...
Ignoring the craving she reached up, standing on her tip toes in an attempt to reach the book, which was almost an entire hand too high for her. Then she tried jumping to reach the book. This attempt also failed.
Glaring at the book, she continued hopping, hoping that one hop would give her just enough height to grab the spine.
“Hey...” Hophop “ Someone wanna help me here, please?” Gabrielle frowned. Her next option was climbing the wooden frame.
Sod that! She was no Spiderman. So, turning around to look back into the library, Gabrielle looked for someone tall enough to help grab that book for her.
"Tall person. Oh, brilliant timing! Could you help me out?" Gabi beamed at the kid only a few tables away from her. It looked like they was studying for something pretty important or somethinglikethat, but a distraction was a distraction and they were always good things.
