Just how the wallet she'd found managed to lose most of it's contents was purely a coincidence, and her trip to London didn't mean anything because of it. What mattered to Ana was that she was there and enjoying the fact she was in another country where the people talked funny, drank endless amounts of tea and wore tweed all day... well, that's what she thought about England until she stepped off the plane to be greeted by beer guts in football shirts and ship loads of Burberry accessories.
Ana felt slightly disappointed for a while after that, as though she'd been ripped off and moped around the streets of Central London until she found a means of cheering herself up. Shopping, or rather, shopping with someone else's money.
So hours later with bags in hand and a beaming smile, Ana Tomas stepped back onto the city streets and began to try and find herself an empty alley way for her to transport back.
---The Bronx---
The street she was walking down grew emptier as she branched off from the main roads and dotted between every two buildings was a pub or bar. The atmosphere wasn't as busy as the high-street and although Ana didn't mind this she felt as though no new face was welcome here at all.
That fear was confirmed by someone clearly yelling "Go home mutie!!"
How Rude! She'd slap them with every heavy object she had if that was aimed at her, ignoring that her mutancy wasn't obvious.
...Scratch that, it wasn't for her after all...
In the corner of her eye she saw about five or six non-tea-swilling Neanderthals stood in a circle and a flash of something or someone in the center, now she didn't have to be a uber genius to figure out who was piggy in the middle.
"Oh hey, need an assist?" Ana raised one of her thin eyebrows as she slid her way through the mass of drunks.
