Her intentions are always sweet and sincere, but people take it the wrong, thinking she was just like her family, cruel and vile.
Alexis tends to go over the top when she feels that no one can do anything right. She stands by the "When you want something done right; Do it yourself" quote proudly because she believes it's hard to find someone to get everything she needs done succussfully. History:
Alexis's father left the family when she was only 7, but she remained loyal to him. Her mother lapsed into depression and alcoholism, which is where Alexis got her taste for alcohol from a young age, even if she refuses to admit it. Her father, as she found out later, had run away to start a new life, which relieved her at first, since her mother had told her multiple times about the terrors he caused. Alexis's father found out that she knew, however, & explained to his little girl how they were simply trying to create a better democracy for the world. Sort out the weak ones...like Alexis's mother, with the muggle parent. Alexis, being young & impressionable, believed him.
Now, being a young girl at the age of seventeen and going to a normal high school, no would ever guess anything was wrong with her until once when she was requested by her English to stay after school for a little lesson on Shakespeare. Alexis knew this was an ordinary lesson that couldn't be told during class since the lack of time until her teacher started making a move at her slowly and gradually. Alexis thought she was just thinking dirty since she had the thought of Aaron, her crush, on her mind that day but after he touched her arm as he started reading, she heard words whispering to her. The voice resembled her teachers, but his lips weren't moving. After hearing the immensly disgusting things he was thinking of doing to Alexis, she ran out of the class. Never returning since then.
After that, she ran away from her home, the voices grew louder and she knew she could hear others thoughts. Not long after, she found herself a small group of people who too claimed to have some sort of powers. Alexis thought she was some kind of alien and disgusted herself at first until she began to love her power and use it for good.
Rp Example:
A girl sat alone in an empty office. An office that for all too long had stood deserted, and it showed. Desks seemed to be littered about the floor, making it look like some sort of dumping ground. The chairs that would have once held students now seemed to have lost the ability to hold themselves, and all seemed to be broken. How the room got like this was anyones guess. The fact that it looked like a troll had been let lose with a pitch fork was probably just a mere coincidence.
The room in fact, looked so bad, that anyone walking past who didn't know that it was always like this, would most likely think that a bomb had gone off. Certainly that was what this girl had thought when she had first walked past it about 6 years ago. Since then she'd returned frequently. It was the perfect place when you got tired of your common room. There was no chance of being disturbed, everyone in the school must know that this room was out of use, and couldn't in fact be used for anything useful, unless you considered what the girl was now doing to be just that.
She'd come here frequently, and had managed to make one desk stand up, quite a feat in the littered mess that was apparently the floor. And it was on this desk that she was sat now. Her light brown hair moved slowly as she worked, sitting on the desk and writing on a piece of parchement that lay next to her.
Alexis Lansing hated working, and in all honesty was rubbish at it, but still, she had to do it. She did it so rarely she always felt like celebrating when any one piece of homework could be considered finished. And it was for this reason she was celebrating now, if you could call it that. She placed her pen down (having never got the hang of using quills) and sighed, rubbing her eyes. Actually completing work always came at a cost, it didn't take a genius to work that out, but her sore eyes were always the worst of it. She looked around momentarily, a guitar was lying at her feet, but she didn't feel like playing it. She was a sociable person, in a sociable mood who had just been cooped up for that last 3 hours doing an essay.
